BAWC_Slider_Binoculars

BAWC is not a membership-based ‘club’ or society. All our information is openly available to anyone who wants it. So how can you support BAWC?

BAWC is a campaign group. We are also suggesting a new way of birding or enjoying the countryside. We want to make taking the The Three Rs (Recognise, Record, Report) into the field as automatic as taking binoculars and a camera. For us – for many of our friends and colleagues – one poisoning, one illegal killing, one hare coursed or badger baited is one too many. The majority of us want change. We need to be that change.

Support us – support our wildlife – by becoming ‘eyes in the field’, and become ‘Wildlife Crime Aware‘ with BAWC and our partner thewildoutside.com.

If you have a website or blog please use any of our logos in your sidebar and link to us. Tell us and we’ll link back.

Support us by telling friends and colleagues about us – or more importantly by explaining why it’s so important that we all become ‘eyes in the field’ helping the police and investigation officers tackle wildlife crime.

And please promote our website and feeds.

    Hi
Just listened to the podcast re: hen harrier day – great work you are doing at BAWC. Raptor persecution issues are much the same here in Spain but with farmers rather than gamekeers the main culprits. Have added a link to BAWC on my blog.

Hi Paul. Many thanks, great to have support from Spain! If you would like to write a blog on the situation in Spain we’d love to post it. Let us know if you’re interested and perhaps we could discuss?

    Hi Chris
Thanks so much for your support!
We’re a bit light on promotional material at the moment – it’s on a long list of ‘things to do’. Car stickers are definitely an interesting idea. Maybe we should run a a quick poll to see whether anyone would want one before we get any printed?
    Thanks again

I have just been sent a link to your website, brilliant. I have added your logo to my blog. I’m totally with you. Do you have any car stickers, posters or any other promotional material. My personal beef is the current trend of photographers that have lenses that are a mile long but still find it necessary to stand right on top of nest sites.

    Regards

Many thanks for both helping us get the message out about BAWC and for linking to us. It’s still early days for BAWC and as we develop we’ll be putting more and more information on here, and hopefully helping everyone with what needs to be done when they come across a wildlife crime or crime scene.
